Leroya Banks


Leroya Banks is a dedicated member of the Perquimans County Sheriff’s Office, where she serves as a School Resource Officer at Perquimans County Middle School. A proud native of Perquimans County, Leroya was raised and educated in the community she now works to protect and support.

Her passion for giving back is reflected not only in her role as an officer but also as a coach. A former track and field athlete herself, Leroya has taken on the role of middle school track coach, where she mentors and inspires students both on and off the track.

Beyond her professional and volunteer commitments, Leroya is most proud of her role as a mother to her daughter, Layla. She remains deeply committed to fostering safety, growth, and opportunity within her hometown community.
