Haley Pippins Damron, MA, LCMHC, LCAS, NCC, CSI, is the founder and therapist at Homestead Healing, PLLC, a mental health and substance use counseling practice in Hertford. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from NC State University and her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Addiction Studies from North Carolina Central University.

Haley opened Homestead Healing in 2021 and has grown the practice from one client and one office into a small group practice serving the community she calls home. Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that people deserve a space where they can show up as they are. More recently, Haley has stepped into clinical supervision, giving her the opportunity to share what she has learned, support developing counselors, and help them find their own way of doing this work well.

Along the way, she has learned that owning a small business means wearing entirely too many hats, learning a whole lot of things you never expected to need to know, and having really good people around you.

When she isn't at Homestead, Haley is usually somewhere in the middle of a house project, tending to something in the yard, or trying to convince herself that her household does not need another animal.
